Let's Do Trivia at Abbott's On Broad Creek

Abbott's: Back again guest hosting on Broad Creek. It was great to receive such a warm welcome from everyone again. Rolltide scored the OTB extra point to get our game kicked off, and were holding their own early in the game, but got steamrolled by the competition midway through the half. With that, The Cruisers cruised into the lead and held the top spot throughout the remainder of the half. *draw a snowflake on the Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* At Halftime, The Cruisers held a slim lead over Jimmy Legs, followed by Woody's and Rolltide. The Cruisers were in the fast lane with their foot on the gas early in the second half, extending their lead. But then late in the half, The Cruisers ran out of gas and was left coasting into the Final Bonus well behind Jimmy Legs and Woody's.      In Let's Do Trivia, five teams - Rolltide, Woodies, Paddy+1, Jimmy Legs, and Cruisers - went head-to-head. The on-time bonus question was "Top sign you disappointed your mate on Valentine's Day?" and the Woodies took the lead early on with their hilarious answer, "They lock you out of the bedroom."      At halftime, there was an 11-point spread between first and last place, making for an exciting second half. The game came down to the wire, with the final question and scoring resulting in a tiebreaker between Jimmy Legs and Woodies. One team was just 10 points off while the other was 15 points away from the correct answer. In the end, Jimmy Legs emerged victorious, leaving Woodies in second place.      Paddy+1 and Cruisers also made a bold move by wagering max points, earning kudos for their daring strategy. Abbott's: It was a pleasure to guest host for this week's game on Broad Creek for such a fun group. And the staff were super friendly and helpful. We had a few technical glitches early in the game so our OTB was a bit more audience participation than usual, but turned out great! It was so good, everyone was awarded a bonus point for their responses.
